APPLE CIDER SANGRIA RECIPE - Jennifer Maune

APPLE CIDER SANGRIA RECIPE - Jennifer Maune

I love a good Sangria! This Apple Cider Sangria Recipe is one of my favorites, especially in the Fall. It’s a perfect blend of apples and cinnamon. I love serving this to my friends and family during the Fall season. Your friends will never believe how simple it is to make with only FOUR ingredients but there is a special trick to it! Impress your family and friends by making this fabulous Apple Cider Sangria at your Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving or Christmas gatherings.

This recipe is in collaboration with FitVine Wines, however, all opinions are my own.

APPLE CIDER SANGRIA RECIPE

When making this recipe, I start by chopping my apples into 1 inch chunks. I use Honey Crisp Apples for this recipe because they have a crisp taste but a sweet flavor as well. I love to add in about a tablespoon of pomegranate seeds. You can eat pomegranate seeds and they are good for you!

After adding the first two garnishes, I add a cup of FitVine Pinot Grigio and a cup of sparkling apple cider. I prefer FitVine Wines because it is lower in sugar, carbs, and sulfite. It’s also naturally grown, from grape to bottle, in California on a sustainable farm. They have many varieties that are very good, but I love a crisp, fruity Pinot Grigio for this Apple Cider Sangria.

After mixing the ingredients together, I add three cinnamon sticks to each glass and I like to let them marinate a little bit. This allows the cinnamon to mix nicely and you get a wonderful, fall flavor that is perfect for your fall entertaining! This is also a wonderful drink to make and enjoy on a quiet evening while curled up in front a cozy fire. Bring on all the fall things like fires, blankets, and yummy fall cocktails!
